Order of Mehdauia

In the Spanish Protectorate (1926 - 1956), which struck North Morocco, a member of the Dynasty of Alouite was installed as Caliph of Tetouan. Prince Mulay Hassan Bin Mahdi (1912-1984) founded a six-degree knight order, the Order of Mehdauia (French: "Order of Mehdauia") on 18 August 1926.

The order is the form of the star of the Alaouite. The house of the Alaouite, descendants of the Prophet Muhammad, ruled over Morocco since 1664.

The smallholding is a traditional Moroccan-shaped golden star with enamelled arms with golden and blue bushes. The five-pointed star, starred by big crosses and large-scale stars, is silver. The forging is quite coarse in the traditional techniques of the noblemen in the Moroccan Kashba compared to the European factory-produced inscriptions.

In the medallion on the front is a rising sun above a green plain, in the Arab world, a to paradise depicted. On the reverse side, a gold arabic text is placed in the white medallion. Literature
