Carol Potter (New York, May 21, 1948) is an American actress.
In 1977, Potter made her debut as an actress in a play on Broadway. Still in the same year she got a role in The Doctors. However, she did not see her for a long time and got a role in the soap series One Life to Live. Here too, she was not seen for a long time and became a castlid of Today's F.B.I in 1981.
After rolling in television films and guest roles in LA Law and Highway to Heaven, she became a Castlid of Beverly Hills, 90210 in 1990. In that she played 144 episodes long as Cindy Walsh, the mother of Brandon and Brenda Walsh . She also played Joan Cummings in Sunset Beach between 1997 and 1999.
Later she had guest roles in, among others, Providence, NYPD Blue, Crossing Jordan and JAG. In the latter series she made her last appearance until today. This was in 2004.
