Center for Monetary and Financial Studies


The Center for Monetary and Financial Studies, better known as CEMFI, is a foundation created by the Bank of Spain in 1987, which was established as an independent foundation in 1991. It is located in Madrid, and its director is Rafael Repullo, from his creation.

He teaches a postgraduate program, which includes a Master in Economics and Finance and a Doctorate in Economics, of high level, aimed at training economists following criteria of excellence. He is specialized in economic analysis and finance. Both are official titles issued in collaboration with the Menéndez Pelayo International University (UIMP).

It also carries out a School of Economics and Finance, with short courses for professionals, which take place in summer.
