In each bar of the graph is listed from top to bottom: This is the position that the club has achieved in the league, without any decision-making, play-off or after-race matches that have been required to determine, for example, the champion of the league. If a * is behind the number, the listing is an intermediate position and the listing may not match the final final of the competition. If there is xx on the position of the listing, the club has left the competition early on. This may be due to withdrawal of the team, bankruptcy of the club or a deliberate penalty of the KNVB. In many cases elsewhere in the article is mentioned. Hereby the number returns the level, which can also be found in the legend. The letter is the departmental designation and is used when there are more departments at the same level. The section letter is always an uppercase letter and is usually used without number. Example: 2F is level 2e class competition F. The competition level and number are not mentioned when there was only one league of this level. Since the launch of European football playoffs after the regular competition in 2005/06, the KNVB is required to pass an EE division to the UEFA on the basis of these playoffs. At this end, clubs qualified for European football are higher than clubs who did not know how to qualify. If there was no difference between the final listing and the official end position, this number is not listed. Below is the name of the subdivision if the club came into a subdivision in that year. This abbreviation is also included in the legend and is linked to the article about this subsection. This abbreviation is only mentioned when the club has played in various subdivisions in the past. This entry is always in lower case in the bar. These subsections have been abolished after the 1995/96 season. If the club has played in only one subdivision, this can only be found in the legend.

Below the bar is the year in which the season is closed. 15 refers to the season 2014/15 and / or possibly in the season 1914/15.

When a bar is empty, this information is not known. It may also be that the club did not play that season at the higher amateur level, leaving the competition early or eliminated. In the 1944/45 season there was no regular competition football because of the Second World War, so this rod is automatically empty. Note: In the 1st grade and lower the clubs play in the districts. These districts are not listed in the chart. Externe link Amateur football Saturday Northern Season 2017/18 52° 56′ 50″ NB, 5° 55′ 58″ OL
