Days of war, Nights of love

Days of war, Nights of love is a collection of political, social and philosophical essays written and published in 2000 by the anarchist collective CrimethInc. Most of the essays advocate a struggle for personal freedom, alternative options and lifestyles. Some of the books are dedicated to the critique of capitalism, statism, and mass consumerism, arguing that all this dehumanizes people and decreases the quality of life in general. How to use this book

It is crucial to note that this book is not designed to be used in the same way as a "normal" book. Instead of reading it from cover to cover, making superficial judgments of agreement or disagreement along the way (or even deciding to "buy" our ideas, in the style of the passive consumer), and then place it on the shelf as another inert possession, we hope that you will use this as a tool for your own efforts; not just to think about the world, but to change it too. This book is composed of ideas and images that we have ruthlessly stolen and adjusted to our purposes, and we expect you to do exactly the same with your content. You do not even have to read it as a unit if this does not please you; in any case it is something that could even be too repetitive for the endurance of the average person. But, please, do not hesitate to use the images for posters, take phrases for your own writings, reinterpret ideas and claim them as your own inventions, deliver the articles in your sociology class ... if you have to deliver them! < / p> -Nadia C., Days of war, Nights of love. page 11
