The Dommelbeemden consists of species-rich, clear-cut hedgehogs, including rattles and orchids. an old dull meander of the Dommel with many water lilies. On a higher part that is part of the central Brabant debris backbone, there have traditionally been bolakers. Moerkuilen

The Moerkuilen borders the Dommelbeemden. It is a peat platter in the Dommeldal with water lilies, fountains, snake root and other species. A pine forest is bound around the fishy peat that attracts many birds, bounded by dense river dunes. There is a varied flora, including fishing and mulberry. Accessibility

In both natural areas, various footpaths run through sometimes difficult terrain. There is a 4.5 km long marked hiking trail. At the Lieshoutsedijk there is a parking lot with a information board of State Forestry about flora and fauna. 51° 33′ 47″ NB, 5° 29′ 54″ OL
