Sonata de iglesia n.º 15 (Mozart)

The church Sonata no. 15 in D major, K. 328 / 317c, is a church sonata in a single movement, written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart possibly at the beginning of the year 1779, when he was twenty-three years old. The piece was composed in Salzburg, for use by the prince-archbishop Hieronymus von Colloredo, in whose service Mozart worked since 1772. characteristics

The work is written in compass compass, with an indication of Allegro tempo with spirito. It has an extension of one hundred and five bars, and consists of two sections, both repeated: the first (bars 1-41) moves to the key of the dominant (major sun), while the second (bars 42-105) returns to the main key. On the other hand, like most mozartian church sonatas, it is written for two violins, organ, and basses (cello and contrabass, and fagot ad libitum).
