The recipe is relatively simple since it only requires hydrogenated coconut oil, sugar, cocoa, dried coconut and Rice Bubbles. The hydrogenated oil melts and combines with the dry ingredients and portions of the mixture are placed in cupcake molds, usually in the refrigerator.
Variations include the addition of raisins, chocolate chips, mini-marshmallows or peanut butter.
