Furios Medulinos

The Meduline Furios (in Latin, Furii Medullini) were one of the oldest patrician families of the Fury gens and the immediate ancestors of the Camillian Furios. Its first representatives appear in the pomp at the beginning of the second quarter of the 5th century BC. C., but a century later they were extinct. Lucio Furio Medulino, twice consul and seven consular tribune, was his most notable member for the number of positions he held.

Medulino can mean «from Medulia»: a city in Lazio, former colony of Alba Longa. Members Bibliography
