Pierre Leroy, born in Houdeng-Gœgnies on January 11, 1924, is a Walloon politician and a Walloon activist.

Political prisoner 1940-1945, he is a member of the Catholic University of Louvain of the Walloon Federation. He also joined Rénovation Wallonne and left the Christian Social Party in 1968 to join the Rassemblement Wallon. He ran for the 1968 elections at La Louvière but was not elected. He is a member of the party's doctrinal commission. After consultation with the different regions, it proposes the formation of three regions (Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels). It also proposes the institution of two communities (one French, the other Dutch) associating to solve the common problems on an equal footing. Each region will elect a Parliament and will be led by a responsible Government. At the federal level only one assembly would remain and a Constitutional Court would be created. It will also be envisaged to create a German-speaking Community.

In 1971, he was elected to the Senate by the Provincial Council of the Province of Hainaut, a mandate renewed in 1974 and 1977. He is a member of the Commissions of Justice, Finance, and the Middle Classes. He intervenes in particular so that the Channel of the Center is enlarged to the size of 1350 tons. He also works on projects establishing the equality of men and women in matrimonial property regimes.
