Elektrodereactie

The electrode reaction in the electrochemistry is understood to mean the chemical reaction that goes to an electrode. Unlike normal chemical reactions, in which electrons can only be bound to atoms or ions, electrode reactions accept that "free electrons" are created or incorporated. These electrons are not really free, because they are supplied or recorded by the electrode. The electrode action is usually a half reaction. The importance of the electrode reaction lies in the fact that there is a relationship between an electrical quantity (charge) and a chemical quantity (number of particles). Examples Footnotes
