G. Ri of his real name Victor Joseph Louis Mousselet is a French cartoonist and illustrator, born May 12, 1853 in Nantes (Loire-Atlantique) and died October 16, 1940 in Paris (16th arrondissement). Although he has published in many illustrated like Le Bon Vivant and Les Belles Images, and his adventure stories have marked many readers (including Vercors), he remains very poorly known. He's also a pioneer of science fiction comics.
