Order of Earnings (Malaysia)

Lint

The Malaysian Order of Merit or Darjah Bakti was set up by the Malaysian king, Tuanku Abdul Halim of Kedah on June 26, 1975. Unlike the other high Malaysian awards, no title or nobility, other than the right to place the letters "DB" behind the name, is attached to the award. The order seems inspired by the famous British example, the Order of Merit.

Only Malaysian nationals can be distinguished for their merits in cultural, scientific, artistic or humanitarian areas. In the first 25 years, the order was granted ten times.

The very precious award is awarded to a ribbon around the neck.

The round small red consists of a white medallion with the national weapon and an ajoura sawn gold ring with stars, crescents and ferns. Around the weapon on the medallion is the motto "BAKTI UNTUK NEGARA".

The ribbon is green with two yellow middle stripes and yellow ribbons. Also see Externe link
