The Root of All Evil is the eighth studio album of Melodic death metal band Arch Enemy from Sweden released September 2009.
The album contains 12 fully rewritten tracks from the band's first three albums, Black Earth, Stigmata and Burning Bridges, which were "sung" by ex-frontman Johan Liiva.
