Zoerselbos

The Zoerselbos is a 400 hectare forest and nature reserve in the Belgian town of Zoersel.

The Zoerselbos Friends Association has honored since 1972 for conservation of the forest. They oppose, among other things, a large settlement, the establishment of a recreation room, and also against "abundant entry", whether or not driven by motorized traffic. They took their turn home with the final protection as a landscape in 1985. Today, they work as volunteers for further conservation, including in the Visitor Center and the Kempische Boerenbloementuin.

10 ha of the area, the nature reserve "Heiblok", is owned by Nature Point. Externe link 51° 15′ NB, 4° 41′ OL
