Antonio Restori (1859 - 1928), Hispanic Italian.
Professed in the Universities of Messina and Genoa, and carried out numerous studies on Spanish literature, among which are Il Cid, studio storico-critico (Bologna, 1881), Osservazioni sul metro, sulle assonanze e sul testo del poem del Cid (1887), La gesta del Cid (1890) and editions of works by Lope de Vega, research on troubadours and medieval music and a later work, still very useful, Saggi di bibliografía teatrale spagnuola (Genoa, 1927).
