Álvaro Pérez Treviño is a Mexican politician.
Pérez Treviño was from a family of ranchers from the state of Coahuila. For the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), he was Mayor of his birthplace Guerrero from 1955 to 1957, and was in the Chamber of Deputies from 1958 to 1961 and again from 1979 to 1982. He tore with the PRI and joined the Authentic Party of the Mexican Revolution (PARM), for which he was a candidate for the 1994 presidential elections, taking 0.55% of the votes.
