The New England Wild Flower Society in New England: The New England Wild Flower Society is the oldest conservation organization in the nation. Dedicated to the preservation of native plants, the Society administers Garden in the Woods, a botanical garden of native plants, based in Framingham, Massachusetts. It also offers numerous courses that focus on the conservation and horticulture of native plants, run a conservation corps, a volunteer corps throughout New England, run several native plant sanctuaries, and offer for sale to the public native plants grown in their two nurseries.
