Pico Alto Grande is the name given to a prominent mountain peak located at the western end of the El Tamá national park in the Táchira state, in western Venezuela. With an altitude of 4,610 meters above sea level it is one of the highest points of Táchira.
It is a mountain difficult to climb because of the little accessible and intricate place, with very steep slopes and gorges, adding to this the climatic conditions of the Andean páramo, which usually remains covered in a dense fog.
