Francisco Ferreira da Silva, known as Chico da Silva, is a composer and singer from Brazil.

He was born in Parintins (cidade-ilha), in the Amazon. At the beginning of his career he was part of the group "Os Amigos do Som". In 1977, Alcione recorded her song "Pandeiro e meu nome" and sold 400 thousand copies, and in that year she signed with the Polydor label. In the mid-1980s, he developed a particularly melodious style of samba performance.

He has worked with Martinho da Vila and has also developed an important work within the Folkloric Festival of Parintins, held annually during the month of June.
