Military Council for Justice and Democracy


The Military Council for Justice and Democracy was the supreme political power body of Mauritania following the coup d'état of August 3 of 2005 and was headed by Ely Ould Mohamed Vall who declared himself President of the Republic and assumed the executive power and the legislative in its totality the 10 of August of the same year.
