Brinkmann cinema


The Brinkmann Cinema was a cinema in Haarlem of Wolff Cinemas.

The Brinkmann cinema hosted 768 people divided into five halls. The cinema focused on popular movies and was the only remaining cinema in Haarlem - until Pathé Haarlem opened its doors. The Brinkmann cinema featured movies every day of the week and in the evening. In the weekends there are about 25 performances per day. History

At the end of 1980, the Brinkmann cinema opened its doors in the new Brinkmann passage at the Grote Markt in Haarlem's old town. Most famous film theaters, such as Lido, Studio, Luxor, Roxy and Frans Hals, disappeared from the city over time, leaving only the Brinkmann cinema and Cinema Palace in the Grote Houtstraat. In January 2011, the latter also took the canvas. End

In July 2011, a new large cinema complex in Haarlem of the Pathé Group, which established itself with eight halls in the new Raak complex on the west side of Haarlem city center. In October 2011, it was known that operator Wolff would not extend the lease contract for the spaces in which the Brinkmann cinema was located in March 2012.
