Cemetery of Saint Barbara (The Hague)

St. Barbara Cemetery is a Roman Catholic Cemetery on the east side of Binckhorst Avenue, between The Hague and Voorburg.

This cemetery dates back to 1920, and is 90 years younger than the other The Hague Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Peter's Tire Cemetery in the Archipelago.

The cemetery was designed by architect Nicolaas Molenaar sr., a student of P.J.H. Cuypers. It is a 5,5 hectare kill.

Since 1966 there have been some renovations and extensions. There is a lot of old greenery, and recently 120 new trees have been planted along the main road. Both cemeteries are managed by the R.K. Foundation. Cemeteries. 52° 4′ 7″ NB, 4° 20′ 31″ OL
