County of the Posadas


The County of Las Posadas is a Spanish noble title waxed on January 28, 1629 by King Philip IV in favor of Francisco Antonio Fernandez de Cordoba and Riederer de Paar, son of the 1st Marquis of Guadalcazar. Its name refers to the Andalusian municipality of Posadas, in the province of Cordoba, which was from the middle ages manor of the family Fernandez de Córdoba since the middle ages, as well as Guadalcazar.
