The County of Las Posadas is a Spanish noble title waxed on January 28, 1629 by King Philip IV in favor of Francisco Antonio Fernandez de Cordoba and Riederer de Paar, son of the 1st Marquis of Guadalcazar. Its name refers to the Andalusian municipality of Posadas, in the province of Cordoba, which was from the middle ages manor of the family Fernandez de Córdoba since the middle ages, as well as Guadalcazar. The marquis of Guadalcazar and the county of Las Posadas were united until death without succession the X countess: following different norms of succession created in the señoríos (original), Guadalcazar happened to a successor of the penultimate marquess and the Posadas to a successor of the first .
