Gustave George Bauer (April 3, 1884, date unknown) was an American wrestler who competed at the 1904 Saint Louis Olympics. That same year he won the silver medal in the Free Weight category 115 lb male, behind his compatriot George Mehnert. In addition they belonged to the association of Newark's National Turnverein. There were three participants in that category, all from the US.
Although he won the silver medal in such games, between 1905 and 1912 he won six UCA titles, either 115 or 125 lbs., and was a three-time finalist at the UCA, twice in the class 105 lb.
