Investment certificate

An investment certificate is a security representing a fraction of the capital of a company. This title of ownership is similar to an action with a restriction on the rights attached to it. Investment certificates result from the dismemberment of a share into two elements: the investment certificate which gives the right to the dividend and the voting right certificate which presents the other rights of a share. This dismemberment is made possible by the law of January 3, 1983. These securities are now regulated by Articles L.228-30 et seq. of the French Commercial Code. code Internal Linksedit code
