Zeinab Jalalian

Zeinab Jalalian (Persian: زينب جلاليان), born in 1982 in the city of Maku, is an Iranian woman of Kurdish ethnicity. She was accused of gravely violating Islamic law and was sentenced to death by an Islamic Revolutionary Court that considered her a member of the Kurdish militant group PJAK, an accusation that she denied.

Subsequently, the case of Zeinab Jalalian was the subject of an international campaign in his defense that finally succeeded in commuting the death penalty to life imprisonment.

The latest information about the prisoner indicates that her health has deteriorated seriously, possibly due to torture, and she is losing her sight. So far, the Iranian authorities have denied him the hospital care he needs to treat the vision problem.

A group of Amnesty International, from Tarrasa (Spain), has been working on your case for some time.
