The Hr.Ms. Claesje (FY 1716) was a Dutch helpline carrier. The ship was built as RO 46 by the shipyard J. Smit Czn. from Alblasserdam. The ship was advanced by the Dutch Navy on April 2, 1940, and converted to auxiliary mines and employed as a minesweeper 7. After the fall of the Netherlands in 1940, the ship managed to divert to the United Kingdom. The ship first carried out sweeping operations in British waters. On October 4, 1941, the ship went to West India to perform patrol services. In March 1945, the ship returned to the United Kingdom to be returned to the owner later that year. Also see
