The Fleet lagoon (in English: the Fleet lagoon) is a brackish water lagoon located in the southwest of the county of Dorset (England, United Kingdom). A beach called Chesil Beach separates it from the sea. The lagoon has given its name to the nearby town of Fleet.
The Fleet Lagoon and Chesil Beach make up a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The view that Abbotsbury offers of the beach and the lagoon has been chosen as the third best in the United Kingdom, according to a vote carried out by Country Life magazine. : Chesil Beach
