Antoni Amer Llodrà, (nicknamed Garanya) (Manacor, February 12, 1882 - id., December 29, 1936) was a merchant and politician of the Balearic Islands, Spain, executed victim of the repression of the pro-Franco faction during the War Civil Spanish

Antoni Amer always lived in Manacor, where he worked as a saddler, and later as a leather wholesaler, as well as other businesses such as travel agencies, management and regular transport lines, among other activities. He was also a prominent Republican politician. In 1911 he was elected councilor of his native town by the republican-socialist candidacy. In the municipal elections of 1931, that gave place to the proclamation of the Republic was chosen of new councilman within the Republican Union with 90% of votes, and later mayor and provincial deputy. In 1936 he was elected by the constituency of Palma for the election of the President of the Republic.

At the time of the July 1936 coup that led to the Civil War, Amer marched on the way to Palma de Mallorca with the intention of getting a first-hand look at the military movements that were taking place. He hid himself from the insurgents when he saw that the town was taken, following a long journey of places between Palma and Manacor. Finally he was hidden in a cabin inside a cellar built for this purpose in the home of a family member, Aina Ferrana. After some time and several visits of Falangist elements in his search, the relatives who protected him were detained. Shortly thereafter, Antoni Amer voluntarily surrendered to the military authorities. Thus he knew that his son Jaume had been murdered. Finding together with Aina Ferrana arrested, two falangistas removed it to execute it, but the police chief, informed, prevented it. However, when he was to be transferred to Palma, a large group of Falangists surrounded the police chief's vehicle and demanded his surrender, which the police chief finally agreed to. He was executed that same day of a shot in the head.
