Force of Evil


Force of Evil is a heavy metal band made up of five members: former Mercyful Fate guitarists Hank Sherman and Michael Denner, King Diamond bassist Hal Patino, drummer Bjarne T. Holm (formerly Mercyful Fate and Mike Tramp and Iron Fire singer Martin Steene. History Force of Evil was born in Copenhagen in September 2002. The band is made up of renowned musicians from the Danish heavy metal scene, as three of its members (Hank Sherman, Michael Denner and Bjarne T. Holm ) had militated in Mercyful Fate, for many the largest and most influential metal band that has ever existed in the country. In addition his bass player, Hal Patino, is part of the band of the legendary vocalist of Mercyful Fate, King Diamond. It closed the formation the vocalist Martin Steene, of the emergent band of power metal Iron Fire.

On March 23, 2003, the band began recording their first album, which will be released on June 13 of that same year by Escapi Music. Coinciding with the release of the album the band gives their first concert in Cleveland (Ohio). In 2004 the band released a DVD with the recording of their second concert (held in Stockholm in November 2003) which includes eight tracks from their first album, two Mercyful Fate tracks and a song that will appear on the band's second album, Black Empire, which appeared on the market in July 2005 after being recorded in the autumn of 2004.

Force of Evil practice a classic heavy metal with a very raw sound and extremely squeaky voices, with dark lyrics focused on diabolical themes or classic horror movies. The band has been characterized by very little live activity Discography
