The rolê de mergulho (literally "diving rolê"), also called negativa trançada ("braided defense"), is a movement of movement in capoeira which consists in making a turn around the same foot support from a low position to arrive in negativa side or side to the opponent.

from the negativa, facing the partner, we engage the leg on which we are sitting to turn around the leg stretched forward but, instead of laying it on the side as is the case in a rolê classic, one continues the rotation to deposit the leg further so as to end up in negativa from side to side (by sitting on the leg that was previously stretched). code
