Artiom Dolgopiat


Artiom Dolgopiat (Dnipró, Ukraine, June 16, 1997) is an Israeli artistic gymnast, world runner-up in soil practice in 2017. Biography

Artiom was born in Ukraine. At the age of six he began to teach gymnastics. In 2009 he moved with his family to Israel where he joined the Tel Aviv gymnastics team. 2017

He participated in the Maccabees Games - a competition held every four years for Jewish athletes from around the world - from Tel Aviv where he won two gold medals in the exercises of ground and horse with bows, and a bronze in jump . Later he took part in the Worlds of Montreal where he gained the silver in ground, being only behind the Japanese Kenzo Shirai.
