The construction industry plays an important role in the development of a country, both cultural and economic, as construction meets the infrastructure needs of most of a nation's economic and social activities. In spite of this, the construction industry is probably one of the less developed industries, compared to others, such as IT or telecommunications.
In the special case of civil construction, it is defined as the area that carries out the construction of an infrastructure for public or private use, urban or rural.
The construction industry can be divided into two major groups: design and execution.
