The Las Verdes lagoon is a lagoon of glacial origin located 5 km north of the town of Torre de Babia in the municipality of Cabrillanes of the Leonese region of Babia. The Las Verdes lagoon is a crystal clear water pool that rises to 1750 m and collects the melting waters of the summits that together build a perfect glacial cirque and the Torre stream that feeds it, constituting an emblematic landscape of the western mountain of León .

It is surrounded by large limestone moles, Montihuero peak (2187 m.), The Aguja de las Coloradas (2006 m), Los Andes (2157 m), Peña Chana (2068 m).

Call of the Greens for the abundant vegetation of green algae that floods it. Its vegetation cover only stays a few months in summer, because its location does not survive the harsh winter.
