Linear Men are fictional characters belonging to DC Comics, a team of men and women who function as time cops with the aim of solving temporary paradoxes. The main members are Matthew Ryder, alias Waverider (leader and founder), Travis O'Connell, Liri Lee and Hunter. He has seen other members of the group from time to time.
Operate from a base that exists at the last possible moment in the universe, the last nano-second before entropy ends all.
Its name is taken from the premise that, after the Crisis in Infinite Earths, time is strictly linear and paradoxes can destabilize the only remaining time line. Thanks to Rip Hunter, they remain happily ignorant of the Hypertime.
