The Roddick Portal is the main entrance to McGill's downtown campus in Montreal. It is located at the north end of McGill College Avenue on Sherbrooke Street. History edit code

McGill had different portals on Sherbrooke Street in the 1860s. In 1924, Amy Redpath Roddick donated the Roddick Portal in memory of her husband, Thomas George Roddick. He was an important doctor who introduced the regular use of antiseptics for surgeries and was Dean of the Faculty of Medicine from 1901 to 1908. edit code
