La Prensa is a newspaper that is distributed in Alberta (Canada) since September 2008. It is a newspaper aimed at the immigrant Latino population of Alberta, mainly in Edmonton and Calgary.
DistributionThe newspaper was distributed monthly, but since December 2011, 4,500 copies are distributed every 15 days. The Calgary Press covers Southern Alberta Red Deer, Airdrie, Calgary, Medicine Hat, and Lethbridge. The Edmonton Press covers Northern Alberta Red Deer, Camrose, Leduc, St. Albert, Fort McMurray and Edmonton. They have a contract to distribute the newspaper door to door with "Canada Post". It is also distributed in immigration agencies, Spanish schools, Latino establishments, libraries ... etc. Sections
