Historia de Cristo is a work by Giovanni Papini, in which he describes and interprets the different moments and events that took place during the life of Jesus of Nazareth. The author moves away from the traditional biographical and historical style, focusing on the description of the spiritual factor of the central character of the book.
The book, which was published in 1921, marks the point at which Papini suffers a religious turn in his thinking. It would also be one of his greatest editorial successes.
