Reporting length

The length of the report is one of the measures of a boat that is used in France on the act of francization.

It is defined by the distance projected on the body of water from the extreme point of the hull and the axis of the rudder (implied by the saffron bit).

This length is less than the overall length which also includes the rear balcony. It can be closer to the length between perpendiculars used in naval architecture but the latter depends on classification societies. Sourceschange the code
