L'Encyclopédie sonore is a collection of records created in 1952 by Georges Hacquard at Ducretet-Thomson-Hachette. It includes a large amount of texts interpreted and recorded on 33 LPs. Some titles have been transferred to audio cassettes or CDs.

We find as titles of great classics like plays of Corneille, Molière, Shakespeare, of Greek authors; or novels, for example Kafka, Tolstoy, Hugo; some poetry ; fables of La Fontaine; historical texts; children's stories, etc.
