Treaty of Zurich

The Treaty of Zurich is an international peace treaty, signed on November 10, 1859 by the Austrian Empire, the French Empire and the Kingdom of Sardinia in Zurich, Switzerland.

The Treaty had three parts. The first part was the confirmation of the agreements of the Treaty of Villafranca, which ended the Franco-Austrian war and granted Lombardy to France. The second part is an agreement between France and Sardinia, according to which Lombardy happens to be part of Sardinia. The third part established peace between Sardinia and Austria.
