Aurora Díaz-Rato Revuelta (Madrid, February 25, 1957) is a Spanish diplomat, since 2008, ambassador of Spain in Uruguay.
Law degree, entered in 1983 in the Diplomatic Career. It has been destined in the Spanish diplomatic representations in Costa Rica and Ireland. She has been an Advisory Member in the Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Director General of Western Europe and Assistant Deputy Director General in the Cabinet of the General Secretariat for European Affairs. In 2002 she was appointed Advisory Member in the General Directorate of General and Technical Affairs Coordination of the European Union. From May 2004 to 2008, she was General Director of Cooperation with Ibero-America.
