The National Peasant Coordinator Eloy Alfaro is a political social organization that fights for the full compliance of the rights of the peasants in Ecuador.

History

The creation of the CNC-EA, is not referred to at the time of its establishment, but responds to the peasant initiatives to meet and consolidate an organizational force to address the causes of their situation of social exclusion back in the 70s

The CNC-EA is one of the most representative social organizations in Ecuador, which emerges from the CONFEUNASSC-CNC in 2005 Political position

Neoliberalism, being the most complete expression of the capitalist system, deepens in society the problems of Individualism, the lack of solidarity, the crisis of the family, the predominance of the market over the life of the people and the growth and intensification of poverty, Neoliberalism conditions and drags humanity to collective suicide.

Faced with this reality, it is identified as a leftist organization and proposes that we permanently build a new democracy, with social justice and solidarity economy. Relevant actions

1990 - April 28 Shot of the Santo Domingo church in Quito.

1996 - The CNC jointly with the CONAIE, Coordinator of Social Movements, citizen and progressive sectors of the country we form the Pachakutik-New Country Movement, breaking with this the old scheme of the partidocracia.

2002 - October 31.- National Walk and Mobilization against the FTAA in the framework of the meeting of the ministers of the American continent.
