HeroQuest (sometimes written as Hero Quest) is a registered trademark (trademark in English) that Greg Stafford recorded in the United States during the first half of the 1980s. Stafford reserved it for the publication of a game of role but for not taking care of it ended up losing the rights of said brand, which was recovered by publisher Games Workshop. It is for this reason that the HeroQuest brand has been attributed to different games (board, role or video game) before returning to the Stafford property and its current publisher, Issaries, Inc.
