The Sussex Drive (English Sussex Drive or Sussex Promenade in French) is a major street in Ottawa, Ontario, the capital city of Canada. Most of the street is parallel to the Ottawa River and part passes through the downtown area. In this street are several significant state buildings along with some foreign embassies and famous residences. Two of the most important houses on the Sussex Walk are Rideau Hall, the official residence of the Governor General of Canada, and the Sussex Walk House 24, the official residence of the Canadian Prime Minister.
