Guapachá is a Cuban-Bolivian group of tropical salsa. The group was formed in 1994 in La Paz, between a group of Bolivian and Cuban musicians, the latter residing in Bolivia for some years, who came from Cuba because of the Castro regime. Apart from salsa, they also play merengue and cumbia colombiana. They have also reedited some musical themes of other artists, including Ricardo Montaner. In 2009, they released a new album titled "Cuban flavor", with a fusion of reggaeton and cumbia.
