The 2016 Six Nations Tournament, known as 2016 RBS 6 Nations for sponsorship by The Royal Bank of Scotland, was the seventeenth edition of the Six Nations Tournament, the most important annual Rugby Northern Hemisphere.
This edition was played by England, France, Ireland (champion in 2015), Italy, Scotland and Wales. Including the previous parent tournaments, it was the 122nd edition of the tournament.
England won its twenty-seventh absolute championship thanks to their triumphs in all their matches; mathematically was champion after the fourth day.
