Ford Models

Ford Modeling Agency, now known as Ford Models, is a modeling agency founded in 1946 by Eileen and Jerry Ford. The company was the main agency in New York, until John Casablancas of Elite Model Management was established in the city, leading the battle of this fashion sector in the 1980s. Ford, like many of the agencies created in the 1970s, has lost ground to new agencies, such as Women, IMG and DNA, in recent years. The company has represented a number of celebrities including Janice Dickinson, Alaina Gaines, Kellan Lutz, Christie Brinkley, Yasmin Parvaneh, Courteney Cox, Rachel Hunter, Stephanie Seymour, Vendela, Veronica Webb, Raven-Symone, Ali Larter, Xuxa, Lindsay Lohan, Ashley Tisdale, Mischa Barton, Christian Serratos, Axel Tiderman and Ashley Benson.

In 1980, Ford established the Ford Supermodel of the World, which attracts more than 60,000 hopeful models from around the world.

In recent years, the company has diversified, through Ford Media and Ford Artists, to represent artists from other areas related to the catwalks. He has also carried out an aggressive promotional campaign on the YouTube website, where he displays videos with fashion advice and self-help messages, narrating tragic stories in the modeling profession.
