Isabelo Ramírez


Isabelo Ramírez Martín (Tharsis (province of Huelva), 18 September 1944) is a retired Spanish footballer.

He started playing as an amateur in a club in his native town until when he was doing military service an observer of Recreativo de Huelva recommended his signing to the Club. It debuted in Third Division with the recreativista subsidiary that then was denominated "Recreativo Onubense". After disputing ten parties it rose to the first equipment debuting in Second Division against Osasuna. At the end of the season he was transferred to Sevilla FC, who signed him despite the pretensions of other clubs like Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid or Valencia CF. The following year was yielded to Celta de Vigo, to re-register in Sevilla FC, in Racing de Santander and, finally, in Recreativo de Huelva again. He was also twice international with the Spanish Team "B".

After his retirement he has directed various clubs in the province of Huelva and joining Recreativo de Huelva. He has also collaborated on various sports programs for local television.
